-Energy: I could sleep way more than 8 hours a day and still feel tired. Why?
-Tone: I want to add muscle, more definition
-Build my immune system: I get sick (colds, uti, etc) way more than I ever have.

To achieve this:
- nutrition: processed foods in moderation. Check ingredients on everything! Generally, if it comes in a can or a box don’t eat it! I don’t plan to convert to a completely raw diet. I also plan to start juicing but I will blog more about that when I start.
-develop a normal sleep pattern. Since I have weird work hours and travel more now, it’s important to develop a general bed time and wake up.
-work out: again, develop a routine instead of working out 2 or 3 days a week if that. DAILY! Less cardio, more weights. blah lol

As 2014 starts, I am blessed with wonderful opportunities in my career and personal life. To take advantage of these opportunities, I usually set “big goals” I want to achieve then break them down into steps that will get me to these goals. Yes, I’m one of those girls who has to make a list for everything I do, otherwise I would never get half of the things accomplished due to my absent mindedness.
This year, one of the most important goals I have set for myself is to “get healthy”. I get so tired of being told “but you’re already skinny” or “you don’t need to lose weight” when I say that. Your weight has a huge part in being healthy but it’s definitely just one factor of many, not just the only one. I’m talking about eating clean, developing a solid routine for my body and mind in all aspects of my life. Everything depends on each other to truly “get healthy”. Challenge yourself, never give up.. you can achieve it if you set your mind to it.. don’t give 100% to one area of life… balance it all out. I’ll be blogging during this journey at the request of a few important people in my life so follow my journey. You never know,you may learn a thing or two.
